I had been looking forward to Brynn + Tyler’s June wedding since they first booked me last Fall. Brynn + Tyler are so amazing. They are the type of bride and groom you hope for when you go into an initial meeting. They are laid back, fun and completely smitten with each other. Brynn knew the kind of wedding she wanted and she and her family, along with the staff at Highland Meadows Golf Club, took the steps to make her dream a reality.
I shot this wedding just 5 weeks after having my youngest. Lucky for me I have an amazing friend that came from California to shoot this wedding with me, Rachel from Rachel Bausch Photography. I could NOT have done this with out her. Not only is she incredibly talented, she is an amazing friend! (Love you, Rach and I hope I can return the favor someday soon!)
Here are my favorites from Brynn + Tyler’s Big Red Barn Wedding.
flowers: The Lil Flower Shop – Windsor, CO
cake: Whole Foods – Ft. Collins, CO
hair + makeup: Ten Aveda and Salon | Lauren – Loveland, CO
dj: Austin Quinty
Do you see these amazing boxes and seating chart?! Ya, they were made by the bride’s brother!
Red barns and sparkly things are my favorite and this wedding did not lack either of those things!
These dresses were hung on the curtain clips (thanks Rach) and looked so amazing floating in the barn door and who doesn’t love cowboy boots in a barn wedding.
Ahhh, chandeliers hung in a beautiful barn. It added just the right amount of chic to this rustic wedding.
Brynn was the perfect bride! She was flawless and so laid back!
Tyler was incredible and just dying to see his bride walk down the aisle.
Brynn + Tyler opted to not see each other until the moment she was walking down the aisle to become his wife. It was beautiful!
And this is how you kiss your wife for the first time!
About 20 minutes before the ceremony it poured and the wind blew, but it made for an amazing photos after the ceremony!
During the toasts, Brynn’s dad talked about how tossing a ball around outside was his bonding time with her. In the middle of their dance together, he brought out a football and they started playing catch. I cried like a little baby! It was amazing!
Tyler decided that he wanted to share a dance with their daughter, Bentli. The next time he will share the dance floor with his daughter will be at her own wedding. It was a great moment.
The evening ended with my first ever sparkler exit! It was a little scary, but it was so fun!
We took one last photo in front of Tyler’s truck. This was something that he mentioned to me at our first meeting. We all kind of laughed it off, but I did not forget! 🙂
Until next time,
