Happy #weddingwednesday! I am sharing Rachel + Nate’s Teepee Engagement Session today because these two are getting married this weekend and I can’t wait!
When I first met Rachel, I knew that I wanted to shoot her and Nate’s wedding. Not only did it sound amazing (ummm…there are going to be tacos) but, I instantly, felt like I had known Rachel forever. There was no forced conversation and we were practically kicked out of the coffee shop that was trying to close down for the day.
A few months later, Rachel, Nate, Bobbi (their adorable, amazing dog), and I headed towards Ward, CO where Nate’s family has some property including an epic teepee.
Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session.
Me, “let me take a few test shots…”
Them just being adorable and cute and perfect! Gahhh, I love my job!
I wanted to stay up here forever. This view was amazing!
These two….nailed it. They are so incredibly natural in front of the camera and obviously so head over heels in love with each other.
So this teepee is amazing and this spot is so special to Rachel + Nate. I am so glad we went up there for their engagement session. I think being in a place that holds such a special place in your heart can make a huge difference during an engagement session. And Bobbi is such a sweet dog. She may not have wanted a lot to do with the engagement session, but we totally bonded!
I love taking individuals of couples. I think it is great for partner’s to have a picture of each other on their phone….or better yet their wallet!
Rachel’s engagement ring is so amazing! I’ve never seen anything like it. It is so beautiful and unique!
Bobbi is a huge reason these two found each other and I am so glad she cooperated for some shots!
I love this little series because Bobbi had to get in on that action!
After the teepee shots, it started to pour rain. So, we took a break and had champagne. (These are my type of people!)
We then ventured to this little are that had baby aspens. The colors were soft, the light was beautiful and these two were just them. I loved it!
It started to rain some more, but not nearly as heavy. So, I took advantage of it and kept shooting. These are some of my favorite photos I have ever shot.
Hoodies, rain, a little sunshine, and a couple deeply in love makes the best photographs!
I cannot wait for Rachel + Nate’s wedding this Saturday! I know it is going to be amazing!
until next time
