I met Hannakin only a short time before her wedding day. The day I met Hanna, I learned a few things.
Hanna and Paul already were married.
They had eloped in Rocky Mountain National Park.
They were having a small wedding ceremony with family in July.
They had quite the love story.
Hanna and Paul, actually, met and dated many years ago and Hanna knew he was the one. She was crazy about him, but they weren’t ready for that big step yet. Not too long ago the two were reunited and fell back in love quickly. They did the long-distance thing for a while until Paul bought a one-way ticket and asked Hanna to marry him. They quickly moved Hanna out to Colorado and the two married shortly after that.
The wedding ceremony took place at Addenbrooke Park on a hot and sticky day in July. Hanna and Paul were surrounded by their closest family members. It was an absolutely perfect day! Here are my favorites from their wedding.
We started the day off with a first look for Paul and Hannakin before jumping into family portraits. I just love the look on Paul’s face. It says everything!
Hanna is waiting for her dad to give her away and I just love how she looked at him!
Paul’s sister performed the ceremony at both their elopement and family ceremony. It was so beautiful and personal!
There were tears and plenty of laughter.
The ring exchange was probably my favorite part of the day. It was 100 degrees out and Paul’s ring was more than a little difficult for Hanna to get on his finger.
Paul’s sister had the best smile after she announced them as husband and wife and I am so glad I caught it!
After the ceremony, Hanna, Paul and I went to Kendrick Lake Park for their bride and groom photos and we had so much fun.
These two are so playful together and I know their home will never be void of laughter
They were incredibly easy to pose. Both of them were complete naturals in front of the camera!
I would never guess this place is just in the middle of a park.
I’m a sucker for succulents and these purple ones in Hanna’s bouquet were no exception!
Seriously, how gorgeous is this couple! Ahhh! I could have shot them all day!
I just loved Hanna’s dress. So perfect on her. She, actually, had the seamstress cut off the train shorten the dress to make it truly unique and exactly what she wanted.
Congratulations Hannakin + Paul! Thank you so much for choosing me to document your day!
