It’s Wednesday and you know what that means. It’s #weddingwednesday and I am so excited to share with you Megan + Dale’s Golden Hotel Wedding from earlier this Summer.
Megan + Dale chose the beautiful and historic Golden Hotel so that their beloved dog, ‘Bear’ could be part of their day.
Here are some of my favorites.
So Megan’s dress was amazing! I loved the gorgeous sequins!
You could tell how much Megan loved her dress because as soon as she put it on she lit up!
While I was with Megan getting ready, my second shooter headed off to catch Dale getting ready and to deliver a gift from Megan.
Megan + Dale opted for a first look and we set it up at Clear Creek History Park next to The Golden Hotel. I love first looks! I think they are fun and a great way to relax before the ceremony.
But, my favorite part of Megan + Dale’s First Look is that they included ‘Bear.’ She was just as excited to see Megan!
I loved Megan’s flowers by Boulder Blooms! It was such a beautiful bouquet full of rich colors!
I loved having ‘Bear’ part of their bride and groom portraits.
Even though it was a hot day, ‘Bear’ was amazing. Megan + Dale did great too! 🙂
I don’t always love black and white for bride + groom portraits, but by this white school house I just love how these two stood out.
I love how much laughter and fun Megan + Dale share.
Megan + Dale’s wedding ceremony took place outside of The Golden Hotel at their Creekside Courtyard.
Megan’s dad walked her down the aisle and even though Megan + Dale saw each other before the ceremony, Dale still became emotional watching his bride walk towards to him.
‘Bear’ just hung out while her humans got married and it was perfect.
Totally loved how Dale went after that first kiss.
In case you didn’t know, I love rose gold and copper. Therefore, the cake topper that Megan + Dale had made my day!
Megan + Dale had some amazing and unique things at their wedding. They hired a caricature artist, Mark Hall, to draw wedding guests for their favors. It was so entertaining and fun! I loved it!
Megan + Dale put a lot of thought on how to entertain their guests, including their youngest guest. They put together fun toys and an amazing teepee for them to play in.
Another amazing element of Megan + Dale’s wedding happened during dinner. In the early planning stages, Megan really wanted a mariachi band to play during dinner. Unfortunately, they couldn’t make it work. But, Dale and Megan’s dad had other plans. They surprised Megan with a mariachi band during dinner and I think the look on her face says it all.
A huge thank you to Megan + Dale for choosing me to photograph their wedding! It was a beautiful day!
Until nest time!
