This week’s #weddingwednesday comes from an engagement session from this Summer. Kevin and Christine put a lot of thought into what they wanted for the engagement session and I am so happy that they did.
We met at Fluid Coffee Bar, a place very close to Christine + Kevin’s hearts. They enjoyed almond milk lattes and toughed out a little heat to capture some great moments.
I just love the chemistry between these two. They have so much love for each other and I didn’t have a problem capturing that.
This fireplace has my heart!
After Fluid, we headed out to do a little hiking on Cedar Gulch Trail outside of Golden. Christine + Kevin spend a lot of time in the great outdoors hiking. So, I loved that they wanted to go on a little hike for some engagement photos.
How epic is this tree?! It was worth the hike.
These two needed very little direction throughout their entire session. So authentic, fun, and romantic.
We raced to catch the last of the “golden light” but we missed it by mere moments. I don’t think it mattered because there were still these moments.
I’m not sure if I could pick one favorite photo from this session, but I love this series. Kevin spun Christine around and they somehow didn’t fall off the side of the mountain, so that deserved a high five and kiss.
I am known for saying that we are done with a session and then seeing something I just can’t pass up. For Christine + Kevin’s session we were almost to the parking lot and I saw these rock stairs and couldn’t pass them up.
I am so excited for Christine + Kevin’s 2017 wedding because I can’t wait to photograph these two again!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s #weddingwednesday. Check back next week for more!
