I can’t believe 2016 is coming to an end! It has been an incredible year and I wanted to share my favorite shot from each engagement and wedding I shot in 2016. Happy #weddingwednesday!
I started wedding/engagement season in April with a styled shoot in Napa Valley, CA. You can see more of this shoot here .
I had the opportunity to help Gillespie Photography out with detail shots in late April at Spruce Mountain Ranch. It was so fun to see Trent and Stacy work together, especially on a day when initial ceremony plans had to be changed due to a big winter storm.
I second shot for Rayna McGinnis in May at Hudson Gardens.
Hanna + Paul’s elopement style wedding really was so amazing and beautiful and was one of my favorite things from 2016.
Becca + Horacio’s RiNo Art District Engagement session was the perfect way to kick off my 2016 engagement season. You can see their blog here . I can’t wait for the Fall wedding in 2017. It is sure to be just as amazing.
Marissa + Scott had a two part engagement session. One part at Breckenridge Brewery and the other part at a park nearby. I ended up loving how their images from the park turned out because of how they were able to be themselves. See their engagement session blog here .
Tyler Jane + Tanner’s Lookout Mountain Engagement Session was pretty freaking amazing. We were literally caught up in a cloud and I fell in love with how everything turned out. You can see more of their engagement session here .
I captured my first proposal in 2016. It was so exhilirating and I can’t wait to capture another one. Read Rebekah + Andrew’s proposal story here .
Liz + Josh chose to have their engagement pictures exactly one year from their wedding date at their venue. I can’t wait for their Spring wedding in 2017!
Megan + Dale’s Evergreen sunrise session was so perfect! Not pictured here, but ‘Bear’ was amazing and stole the show. Check out their blog here.
I had the opportunity to travel to Napa Valley to second shoot for Rachel Bausch Photography during the Summer.
Rachel + Nate’s engagement session will probably always be a favorite for who they are as people, the adventure we went on, and the amazing photos we were able to capture. See all the amazingness here .
Liv + Nick are getting married Spring 2017 and their engagement session had two parts. One at Stranahan’s Distillery and the other at Cherry Creek State Park.
Christine + Kevin’s engagement session was full of everything and I had a really hard time picking my favorite, so for today. I’ll go with this one. You can see more of their session here .
I absolutely love shooting bride + groom photos, but these bridesmaids win at 2016. They killed it and I don’t think any of them took a bad photo. Tyler Jane + Tanner’s Grand Lake wedding blog can be found here .
Rebekah + Andrew wasted no time in scheduling their engagement session and planning their wedding. I can’t wait to kick off 2017 with their wedding in just a few short weeks!
Rachel + Nate’s Denver Botanic Garden Wedding was one for the books. See all the beauty here .
‘Bear’s’ parents got married in August at the Golden Hotel. See their wedding day here .
I helped out fellow photographer, Rayna McGinnis, and shot a sunrise engagement session for at Red Rocks. This couple and the light had me swooning all morning!
Marissa + Scott were married on private property in September.
Ashley + Jeremy had the ultimate Breckenridge wedding in October.
Amanda + James had a beautiful Fall wedding at Chief Hosa Lodge.
I second shot for Rachel Bausch Photography again in California and it was absolutely gorgeous. The light was amazing.
I traveled with Rachel Bausch to Michigan in the Fall to second shoot this beautiful wedding.
I participated in a Shootout put on by a local group I am a part of called the Denver Photo Betties.
We had four real life couples and spent 30-ish minutes with each of them.
We had some pretty epic storm clouds roll in.
Each couple had a special type of chemistry and they were all so fun to work with.
I attended the Linden Clover Workshop in November. It was the perfect way to recharge and feel reinspired. We photographed 3 different brides.
I just love this non-traditional take on flowers.
I love this take on a floral crown!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my look back on 2016. I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings! Cheers!
