Happy #weddingwednesday, friends! I cannot believe I am sharing Liv + Nick’s Spring Wedding in Castle Pines so soon, but here I am ready to share the gorgeousness that took place earlier this month at Cielo at Castle Pines.
But, first I need to brag on Liv + Nick. They are so amazing, kind and understanding. I was supposed to shoot their wedding pregnant, but my little man had other plan and came into the world early and very sick two weeks before their wedding. They were supportive and understanding of everything. I was so happy that I felt up to shooting their wedding and that my little man was on the mend and no longer in the NICU. I shot the entire wedding with the help of two amazing women.
You may remember Liv + Nick from last Spring when we had an amazing two part engagement session. Part one was at Stranahan’s Whiskey Distillery in Denver and the part two was at Cherry Creek State Park with their amazing dog Ranger. You can see the entire session here.
They planned a Spring wedding at Cielo at Castle Pines. According to the Farmer’s Almanac is was going to be a beautiful day and no one was disappointed. Here are my favorites from their wedding day.
I just love Liv’s expressions while she was popping the champagne!
These button down shirts that Liv bought on Etsy were perfect for her girls to get ready in.
I loved the bridesmaid’s dresses. They were so flowy and complimented the navy tuxes the men wore so well. And that “yay” balloon, I have no idea where it came from, but it was amazing!
Liv sent Nick the sweetest handkerchief and we all cried.
I don’t know who came up with the idea to have such an amazing groom area at Cielo at Castle Pines, but comfy sofas and a big screen tv had these guys right at home.
A business goal of mine this year was to start capturing more groom details and when the groom has style like this, you can’t go wrong.
I loved watching all of Liv’s tribe watch as she put on her wedding dress. Her mom laced up the back of her dress and we all gasped when we saw Liv in her dress.
You see that bride’s man? He stepped up when his sister’s flight was canceled and became another attendant for his cousin. He carried a bouquet and hung out with the girls. I never heard him complain about anything. I am so impressed with him! Way to go Hunter!
After telling Liv how beautiful she looked and taking some bridals in the suite, I looked at Liv and asked her if she had actually looked at herself. She said no and walked to towards the mirror. The look on her face said it all. She looked beautiful and felt beautiful.
I love this photo so much. You can actually feel the anticipation.
As Liv walked down the aisle, I had my camera on Nick and it took all of me not to cry with him.
Because it is the absolute best feeling being told you are officialy married!
These two were amazing. Their bride + groom photos were so fun and full of love and laughter.
You know you have an amazing Mom when she brings you beers while you have your portraits taken.
I love veil pictures. I don’t care how often they are done. They are still amazing. If you follow me on Instagram you saw a fun behind scenes of this earlier this week.
Let’s take that chair from the foyer and bring it in front of these awesome doors. Ok! Nick then moved the extremely heavy chair outside!
These bridals of Liv are some of my favorite ever! She made such a stunning bride!
Nick made the perfect groom and had all the groom style.
This wedding reception was on of the most fun. The dance floor was never empty!
It was such an honor to be a part of Liv + Nick’s day! They are the absolute best!
The bubble exit that Liv + Nick planned was everything and more!
A huge thank you to Rachel and Katy for second shooting and assisting me with this wedding! I couldn’t have done it without you ladies!
