I am so excited to share this snowy engagement session! We rescheduled a few times really trying to hold out for that Colorado snow. This Winter has been pretty mild and the snow coverage has been less than ideal. But, on a Saturday in early January, we were lucky enough to find some snow and then in the middle of the session, snow started to softly fall. I may have jumped up and down a little bit!
Engagement sessions are one of my favorite things. I feel like it is such a fun way to get to know a couple and for them to get to know me. I won’t even pretend like I am not goofy, weird, and slightly awkward. (Okay, maybe more than slightly…) Kara and Tom’s engagement session was no different. I learned that they are high school sweethearts, they share a love for travel, adventure, and their mini Goldendoodle, Yogi. We laughed throughout their entire session and I thought about stealing Yogi. Here are my favorites from their Wintery engagement session.
These aspen trees and Kara and Tom’s formal-ish outfit choice contrasted so nicely. I could have shot there all day.
Yogi was such a fun addition to their engagement photos. He was playful and excited, but still well behaved. Having him run around and just be a pup made for the best photos!
We ventured over to Lake Dillon for some amazing views and it did not disappoint!
Kara’s engagement ring had me swooning. I love everything about it, but most of all I love how unique it is. I can honestly say that I’ve never seen anything like it. Nicely done, Tom!
Until next time!
