Meredith and Clay were married in an intimate wedding ceremony during a rainy Summer day at the Denver Botanic Gardens. One of the many reasons I love my job is that no two weddings are ever alike. Meredith and Clay’s wedding was no exception. They chose to have a very intimate wedding with only close friends and family. The intimacy of the Denver Botanic Gardens along with the endless options for photos made it the perfect place for their wedding.
The bride chose a gorgeous long-sleeve dress from Little White Dress Bridal Shop in Denver. She paired the dress with a long veil and glitter Jimmy Choos. She was such a classic bride. Clay wore a classic suit that complimented Meredith’s bridal style perfectly. Meredith and Clay’s florals were simple and DIY from Trader Joe’s and they were perfect!
Meredith and Clay chose to do a first look and we were able to orchestrate it in one of my favorite places in the Gardens, the Orangery. The Orangery showcases year-round color with exotic plants and is sheltered from the rain making it the perfect location for a first look! Clay had the greatest reaction when he saw Meredith.
The ceremony took place at the Water Garden Gazebo where Meredith’s father walked her in while her brother played his guitar. The ceremony was short and sweet as their family and friends watched. There wasn’t a dry eye in the gazebo. After the ceremony, we were able to explore the gardens for bride and groom photos.
We battled the rain, but it was totally worth it and the rain didn’t bother the newly married couple and their bliss.
Here are my favorites from Meredith and Clay’s intimate and rainy wedding day at Denver Botanic Gardens.
