Rust and Blush Summer Wedding in Boulder at The Greenbriar Inn

Nora and Noah chose the Greenbriar Inn for the rustic and romantic feel just outside of Boulder. This allowed them to get ready at the St. Julien Hotel and have photos at Chautauqua Park.  They chose a color palette of dusty blush pinks, rust orange, greenery, and navy. It was the perfect palette for a Summer wedding in Colorado. Their entire wedding day was planned to perfection, right down to every detail.

Nora is the owner of Sun Hand Studios and embroidered makeup bags for her wedding party. She also embroidered her and Noah’s initials with their wedding date into the inside of her dress and his suit. But, my favorite detail of their wedding detail was Nora’s denim jacket that she embroidered with “just married.”

It was important for the couple to spend their wedding day together and have the opportunity to have photos throughout the day. They chose to have a first look outside of the hotel. I love both of their reactions to one another. Afterward, we met them at Chautauqua Park for the wedding party and bride and groom portraits. It was raining off and on all morning, but once we got to the park it turned to a drizzle. Nora and Noah decided to embrace the rain. But, it didn’t last very long. The sun came out and stayed for the rest of the day.

The couple’s ceremony and reception took place at one of my favorite venues, The Greenbriar Inn. It’s situated just outside of Boulder with gorgeous views of the mountains and foothills.  Wedding festivities started with the Ketubah Ceremony.  Until this wedding, I didn’t know what it entailed. It’s a Jewish contract between the bride and groom. They display it in their home so they can see if every day. It reminds them of the promises they made on their wedding day.

Nora and Noah were married under a gorgeous Chuppah designed and decorated by the amazing team at Painted Primrose. The couple shared personal vows, live music, and the traditional breaking of the glass.

After dinner, Nora and Noah made more time for sunset photos where Nora showed off her “just married” denim jacket. The night ended with lots of dancing, including the Hava Nagila.

I loved documenting Nora & Noah’s wedding day. They made me feel like family throughout the day and I’m so excited to finally share their day! Enjoy my favorite photos.
